Validator
A participant performing protocol-defined network duties. Responsibilities may include software operation, monitoring and governance.
Delegation
An arrangement in which participation rights are assigned under conditions set by a protocol or service.
Uptime
The time a system is available for its intended operation. Definitions should state maintenance exclusions and measurement method.
Cooling load
Energy and equipment capacity used to manage heat from computing and supporting systems.
Lockup
A period or condition that limits withdrawal, transfer or other use of an asset or participation right.

- Ask what evidence supports the statement.
- Ask which condition would make the definition inapplicable.
